About
Our Mission: Enriching the Lives of Older Adults on Vashon/Maury Island. The Senior Center offers a wide variety of programming and services including: Hot lunches in-house at the Center and lunches delivered to homebound seniors every MWF. Programs supporting Health & Wellness (Zumba, Tai Chi, Spinal Mobility, Wild Walkers, Senior Saints Haircuts, Foot Care, End-of-Life Planning, Meditation, Sound Bath, and more); Social connection (a variety of card games, knitting/crocheting, book club, photography club, watercolor, creative expression); Memory care and Education: (Music Mends Minds, WordPlay, Smartphone support, Spanish classes, and more). MWF after-lunch programs about Vashon history, elder law, financial scam prevention, healthcare and emergency services on Vashon, travel, arts, and more. Care-A-Van rides to and from the Senior Center for lunch and activities.

Open hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9am to 3pm (and many clubs and programs use the Center outside of open hours)
Payment
No payment is required for most of our programs. Field trips have a nominal charge. Senior Center membership is $35 annually and offers many benefits including discounts on lunches and field trips, our monthly newsletter delivered to your door, and an opportunity to contribute to our mission.
